Social Media Manager Toolkit

As a social media manager, it’s important to have the right tools for the job. With so many social media platforms to manage, it can be time-consuming and overwhelming.

I remember when I was a new social media manager around six years ago how overwhelming everything appeared. I especially remember the struggle I had to choose which tools to use to help me manage my clients’ social media accounts and perform my tasks efficiently as a social media manager.

Now, there are countless social media management tools on the market, and it can be difficult to decide which one is right for you. That’s why I’ve put together this social media manager toolkit guide!

What is a Social Media Manager Toolkit?

A social media manager toolkit is a collection of tools that will make your work as a social media manager so much more easy and effective.

How to Choose the Right Toolkit for Your Business

When choosing a social media manager toolkit, it’s important to consider your needs and budget. Not all tools are created equal, so it’s important to choose ones that fit your specific requirements.

Here are some factors to consider when choosing a social media manager toolkit:

– Ease of use: This is an important aspect to consider, especially if you’re not very tech-savvy. The toolkit should be easy to use and understand, with a user-friendly interface.

– Number of social media platforms supported: Make sure the toolkit you choose supports all of the social media platforms you use.

– Features: The features offered by different tools vary greatly, so it’s important to choose a toolkit with features that are important to you.

– Pricing: social media management tools can be expensive, so it’s important to consider your budget when choosing a toolkit.

– Functionality: The toolkit should be able to perform all of the tasks you need it to, such as scheduling posts, analyzing social media analytics, and more.

– Integrations: Many social media management tools offer integrations with other platforms, such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite. This is a great feature to look for if you want to be able to track your social media analytics in one place.

Now that we’ve gone over some factors to consider when choosing a social media manager toolkit, let’s take a look at some great options!

Best Social Media Manager Tools

In this blog post, we will discuss five tools that will help you manage your social media accounts more efficiently. In this post, we’ll discuss five great tools that every social media manager should have

Content Scheduling Tools

Without a content scheduler, it will be hard for you as a social media manager to keep your social media accounts active. You will need to log in to each account and post manually which can take up a lot of time.

My favorite content scheduling tool is Tailwind. This allows you to schedule all of your posts ahead of time, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to post or having to log in to each social media account every day.

Tailwind also has some great features such as post insights, which tell you when the best time to post is, and hashtag research, which helps you find the best hashtags to use for your posts.

It also has a great new feature called ‘Tailwind Create’ that helps you to design Pinterest pins and Instagram posts in no time with the help of artificial intelligence. This feature has really blown my mind and I’m sure it will blow yours too!

Tailwind is a paid tool, but they do offer a free trial so you can try it before you buy.

Graphic Design & Photo Editing Tool

Canva Pro is my go-to tool for designing social media posts and editing photos. It’s an online graphic design tool that is very user-friendly and perfect for social media managers who are not graphic designers.

Canva Pro has a library of pre-made social media templates, so all you need to do is add your text and photos. They also have a great selection of free photos and elements that you can use in your designs.

If you’re not a Canva Pro user yet, I highly recommend you sign up for their free trial to see how you like it. I’m sure you’ll be hooked!

Writing Assistant Tool

A tool that has been a total gamechanger in my social media manager career is Jasper AI. This is an AI writing assistant that helps you to write better social media posts by providing you with social media caption prompts by using different templates.

You can create prompts for social media content, blog posts, Facebook ads, e-mails and so much more.

Jasper AI has helped me to save so much time when writing Instagram captions, pin descriptions and more. It’s a great tool for social media managers who want to improve their writing skills.

Jasper AI is a paid tool, but they offer a free trial so you can try it before you buy.

Stock Photos

For beautiful stock photos for your social media graphics I highly recommend Styled Stock Society. This is a membership site where you can download unlimited high-quality stock photos for a monthly fee.

I love Styled Stock Society because they have a wide range of different styles of photos to choose from. They also add new photos to the library every month, so it’s always growing.

They also have Instagram and Pinterest Canva templates that you can use to create social media graphics in minutes.

If you’re looking for high-quality, beautiful stock photos for your social media accounts, then I highly recommend signing up for Styled Stock Society.

Client Management Tools

For client management, I highly recommend Dubsado or Honeybook. These tools will help you to streamline your client onboarding process, send invoices and contracts, and keep track of your project deadlines.

Both Dubsado and Honeybook offer free trials, so I recommend you try out both to see which one you prefer.

These are just a few of the social media management tools that I use on a daily basis to help me with my work.
