Remote RN Jobs no Experience Needed
Working remotely as a nurse can be a great alternative for RNs who want to be away from the traditional pressures of the clinical bedside atmosphere.
A few years ago I took the leap and left my career as a nurse specialist and nurse manager to become a freelancer and travel the world.
I wanted to have more freedom and flexibility in life and more time to do the things I love and I have never regretted my decision.
I’ve tried many different freelancing jobs and as a nurse, you can use your skills in a number of ways.
Here are some ideas on remote RN jobs no experience needed:
Social Media Manager
One of my favorite remote nursing jobs for RNs who want to work from anywhere is that of a freelance social media manager.
As a social media manager, you would be responsible for creating and managing the social media accounts of healthcare organizations and brands, health- and wellness coaches etc.
This would include posting updates, responding to comments, and creating engaging content around relevant topics.
Your skills as an RN would be invaluable in this role, as you would be able to provide accurate information and help to dispel myths and misconceptions about health topics.
If you would like to be your own boss, be in charge of your own time and income, and grow a profitable & sustainable business my program the Social Media Manager Academy is the perfect fit for you!
In this course I’ll teach you how to make this career one of the most high-paying remote nursing jobs you could ever imagine.
Another great tip on freelance nursing jobs is to become a proofreader. As a proofreader, you would be responsible for reviewing and editing medical documents such as discharge summaries and patient records.
This is a great job for RNs who have strong attention to detail and want to work from home.

If you are a nurse with experience in medical transcription, then working remotely as a medical transcriptionist may be the perfect job for you. As a medical transcriptionist, you would be responsible for transcribing audio recordings of patient encounters into written reports. This is a great job for RNs who have strong typing skills and want to work from home.
As a nurse specialist, I have taken a lot of medical transcription jobs, especially at the beginning of my freelance career. I highly recommend this online course to become a certified transcriptionist.
As a freelance writer, you would be responsible for writing articles on various healthcare topics. This is a great way to use your nursing knowledge to educate others and work from home.
As an example, you can be a ghostwriter and write blog posts on topics such as health and wellness, the best way to study for the NCLEX, or tips for new nurses.
You can also write for magazines or websites that focus on health and wellness topics.
If you’re passionate about writing you would have a big advantage as a nurse if you started a blog within the health or wellness niche. Google favors blogs in this niche where the author has documented credentials like being an RN and it’s easier to rank your content.
You can blog about anything related to nursing, health, or wellness and make money through ads, affiliate marketing, or selling products and services.
